I’m not a fan of those shared logins (usually because I don’t trust any of the involved parties). Most major uses should be safe though, when you log into kinja via facebook, you aren’t giving kinja your credentials, and shouldn’t be giving them any privileges, they are just asking facebook to verify that you are who you say. There have been abuses, and third-parties that have requested excessive privileges or abused the ones they have, but I believe Facebook has greatly clamped down on that.

I always like them because then I dont have to create another password for some other service. I am always logged into google on my own devices so if I just use that account to log into stuff, then my life is way easier.
